He has also done a number of translations, of Chekhov\u2019s plays in particular.<br>His ten novels include <em>Towards the End of the Morning<\/em>, <em>The Trick of It<\/em>, <em>A Landing on the Sun<\/em>, <em>Headlong<\/em>, which was shortlisted for the Booker prize in 1999, and <em>Spies<\/em>. He specialises in stage lighting and hopes to continue working in this field after graduation.
